Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Register.ly uses cookies and similar technologies across our website and services.
What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, software development kits, pixels, tags, and device identifiers. They can remember settings, maintain sessions, measure performance, and support security or communications.
Cookie categories
2.1 Strictly necessary
These technologies support account sign-in, session continuity, load balancing, security, fraud prevention, checkout, and consent settings. They cannot be disabled through our preference control because the requested service may not function without them.
2.2 Preferences
These remember choices such as language, region, interface settings, and saved preferences. Where required by law, they are used only with consent.
2.3 Analytics
These help us understand visits, feature use, errors, and performance. Where required by law, they are used only with consent.
2.4 Advertising
If advertising or cross-site measurement technologies are enabled, they may measure campaigns or support relevant communications. They are activated only with valid consent where required. Register.ly does not activate this category merely because it is described here.
Your choices
Where a consent banner or Cookie Settings control is available, you can accept, reject, or change non-essential categories at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Your choice may be stored in a necessary consent record.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but this may sign you out, reset preferences, or prevent parts of the Services from working. Global Privacy Control or similar signals are honored where applicable law requires and technically supported. Because Do Not Track is not interpreted consistently, our response may vary unless law requires a specific response.
Current technologies and retention
The Cookie Settings interface, when available, identifies active technologies, providers, purposes, and durations. Session technologies expire when the browser session ends; persistent technologies remain for the duration shown there or until deleted. Register.ly retains consent and preference records for up to five years where reasonably needed to demonstrate and respect your choice.
Third parties
Service providers may set or read technologies supporting hosting, security, payments, customer support, analytics, or communications. They may process information under their own privacy notices where acting independently. The Privacy Notice explains supplier controls and international transfers.
Legal bases
Strictly necessary technologies are used to provide requested services, protect systems, and meet legal obligations. Non-essential technologies are based on consent where required. Where another basis is permitted, Register.ly uses it only with legally required notices and choices.
Updates and contact
We may update this Notice when technologies, providers, or law change. Questions: [email protected]. Client area: https://my.register.ly.
